A thought for my potter?

“Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?” -Romans 9:21

Surely we have not doubt that our potter made us with loving hands, forming us into unique vessels that can never be replicated.  Did He not form man from the dust(clay) of the earth with His hands and the breathed  into us the His own breath, how much more control over clay can there be?

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”  Psalms 139:14

Did He not make us in His image and fashion us after His likeness?  If He being a God, immortal and all powerful chooses to create something from scratch do you seriously question whether it would be done with perfection. Did He not give us the choice of freedom and if so, then it only stands to reason that it is us, the vessel that determines whether we are used for good or bad?

What is man that You are mindful of him and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels and You have crowned him with glory and honor.” -Psalms 8:4-5.

Truly, there can be no doubt about the potter who made us and if by chance you do not agree or still need clarification He has said in His words, to come and let us reason together.  He understands us more than we under stand ourselves and so he knows that   His thoughts are not our thoughts.

Amen.
